This must be the week for outfits that Kara and I don’t understand.
I spent the past 24 hours sick (feeling much better now), so this morning I knew I was up to blog an outfit, but I didn’t think I had the energy to be “cute”.
You know you’ve had those days. I have them about, oh, 7 days a week.
It doesn’t help that my office is super casual. I could wear yoga pants and a hoodie every day and wouldn’t get a single side-eye.
So I put on an outfit that felt pretty “blah” and went to run some errands before going to work today. At one of the stores I popped in to, a woman I walked by said “You look adorable!” Well, shucks, thanks random lady!
And that is the story of why I’m posting photos taken from my work’s (circa 1984 decor) bathroom. Normally, I wouldn’t. But a random lady liked my outfit. So I thought you might overlook the tacky bathroom pictures.

Have you ever received a compliment on an outfit you thought was simply “meh”?

ha ha ha…I’m that random lady! I will walk up to a stranger to tell her she looks cute. At the thrift store I complimented someone’s wicked awesome vintage shoes and we got into a 5 minute conversation about thrifting! New friends!!
